After about 14 years of film and snapping away with my Nikon FE(s), I’ve been fortunate enough to cop the rangefinder I’ve been eyeing for a while. Intro my Zeiss Ikon. One body. Two lenses. A 28mm and 50mm. The camera that will last me like a Rolex. The camera that will document the life of my family and children until I die. I’ve been that committed to the idea of this camera. Crazy… And now I have it. Digital is becoming even more obsolete for me. Funny how backasswards that is. But I will argue that digital can never capture the nuances that film can, like loyal vinyl record collectors argue versus MP3s. I’m done.
