Randomness in SF

Gotta love the city, where the most random things happen. Kate and I went to a gallery that turns into a club at night, 111 Minna. We unexpectedly ran into a handful of our closest friends. The first random thing was when some chick sat next to us and started choppin’ it up with Khat, Paul’s girlfriend. I swear I thought she was going to make out with her only because this chick kept looking at Khat lustfully.

Paul, Kate and I waited for that moment. 5 minutes into the conversation, Khat introduced her new friend, Nicole, to the rest of us. Another 10 minutes passed and we decided to get up and dance. Nicole blows a fit and starts accusing us of stealing her cell; her claim being that we’re getting up to leave so we must have stolen her cell. We convinced her we didn’t steal it and I’m sure Khat was close to socking her. Best friends for 15 minutes, enemies moments later.

At about 1:30, we took off and spontaneously decided to head off to North Beach’s Red Light District to check out the Lusty Lady, a peep show theatre. We got our $2 worth and watched a few ladies entertain a row of private booths and shadowy faces.

Afterwards, on our way to grab a quick bite, some dudes vacationing in San Francisco from Bavaria, Germany, were refused service when they tried to order from the drive-thru. So we ordered for them since we took the car out and they paid for our meal. God only knows what nastiness is in our burgers in reaction to the German dudes being quite rude at times, let alone the nastiness left on my hands from opening the door from a private booth at the peep show.

Yeah. That’s our Friday night.
