Yesterday we received news that Loomis Group’s Simpletech Black Cherry portable hard drive package design picked up a platinum award for “best in category.” You can imagine I was stoked to receive my first professional award. Yay! It was also my first project at Loomis Group, 10.5 months ago. I should go out and buy one now.
My role in this project was primarily the designer but I had a chance to flex muscle in the color forecasting research for the drive colors, proposing multiple packaging form factors and some copywriting.
