In 2007…

we start out real great when we all met up in San Francisco to watch Incubus at the Warfield.

Jack Miranda Biala is born.

Kate, Rob and I are flown out to Dallas for the DSVC National Student Conference.

Kate, her family, and I drive to San Diego to witness Carole’s graduation.
-

I am awarded Best Portfolio at the Department of Design’s Spring Show.

I gain huge perspective at my 2nd AIGA portfolio review.

Tanhueco side of the family visits us from the Philippines.

We graduated college.

My first design professional interview out-of-college with Chen Design Associates.

Kate and Jeff are engaged.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is released.

Neil moves to a bigger house.

Jun get’s his first official girlfriend after nearly 10 years.

Kate and I move back home after living in Sacramento for three years.

My family and Kate fly to Philippines to celebrate my parents’ Silver Wedding Anninversary.

We find out Neil is having a baby brother or sister.

I am hired as a graphic design intern at Chen Design Associates.

I leave Chen Design Associates for a junior design position at Loomis Group.

Kate lands a graphic design internship at ReadyMade magazine in Berkeley.

Kate lands another graphic design internship with Duuplex.

Kate leaves Duuplex.

Kate and I are Godparents to Jack Miranda Biala.

Kate lands a full-time graphic design internship at Lunar Design in San Francisco.

Kate and Jeff move to The Richmond in San Francisco/Kate’s company Christmas party.

I chopped my hair.

2007 was great. 2007 was long. Though I can remember last New Year’s and last Christmas like it was just months ago, 2007 felt much longer than other years when I think of all the milestones in my life that happened in just a year. I was sad to see 2007 go. 2007 was pivotal.

In 2008, Kate and I will go full throttle to plan our wedding, Kyle graduates high school, Jun and Paul get their Bachelor’s, Iris gets her Master’s, and Kate and I turn 25.
