I think Macs are great and I’m quite sure I’m not ever switching back. But I still get weirded out when dudes show off their overzealousness in even the slightest ways. But as Kate mentioned, this dude got straight excited, “Wow! We all have real computers,” as he opened his up.
I think they’re great machines but I still get weirded out when people flash them as status symbols. Yes, they’re pretty, the operating system is efficient as hell and we all smile just looking at owning one of Jonathan Ive’s brilliantly designed pieces, but it makes us no better than anybody else. Everybody’s got their own cup of tea and let’s respect that.
