I’ve had the same baseball glove for 10 years; Kate bought me a new one today. It’s awesome. It’s just asking to be used. Problem is…I have about 5 friends and that does not qualify as a team. I just wanna get out there and play some recreational baseball, play some tackle football, play some basketball and have good ol’ fashion American apartment-kid fun.

I can play catch with my new glove and lend my old glove. Kate has her old glove. Jhun has a glove. I sure wouldn’t mine playing with a bad, but catch is a good way to catch up with good ol’ times. Tonight, I am going to watch Sandlot to sleep and dream I had a blissful lifestyle of just summer and sports. Life seems so much happier and fun playing sports as a kid, coming home with scrapes, bruises and a dusty cap.

It’s Joel Madden from Good Charlotte.  Who really cares?  But he’s
famous so of course I take pride in taking a picture with him.  This pic is
from last year, almost a year ago, and I finally had the film developed.  I
opened up a disposable cam, took a picture with him, then paid.  Ghetto.
Haha.

Some of you may remember how I submitted a handful of photos to jonessoda.com a few months back. Well, they chose the wedding cake picture with Kaye and Rich faintly in the background.
It had a 4.4/10  rating but Jones Soda chose this one themselves.
It’s on the new flavor, Strawberry Lime Soda.

I was in the middle of the novel, “My Ishmael” and like me, I decided to stop (for now, maybe) when Kate said she will pay me
$20 to read Dan Brown’s Angel & Demons.  Of course I agreed to these
terms and admitted that a talking gorilla named Ishmael who nearly prophesizes
to the world how "our culture" doesn’t know how to live.

So I say to you
Sylvan.  We shouldn’t pay YOU to encourage us to read.  You should pay
US to read.

And back to the whole fortunate registration-and-rearrangement-of-classes
incident, yesterday was the last day to make any changes until August 23.
JESUS LOVES ME!

O yeah, back to the original subject.  Angels & Demons is long.  I’ve
read a handful of novels but this one is a few ruler marks past an inch in
thickness.  And the pages are thin with 9pt. serifs!  $20 is $20.

Who knew that finding me a filler class for Sac St. would cause me and Kate to rearrange our whole entire schedule? Dear God. Thank you. Kate and I are now full-time at CSUS because of some little detail I found that could delay our admission into upper division graphic design for up to a year.

In retrospect, no more taking classes @ Sac City College or American River (originally because of scheduling conflicts Kate and I were scheduled for 2 classes @ ARC and 2 classes at CSUS). Who cares right? I Just had to bring it out into the open. Shit worked out better than I expected; sure our bodies and minds will be exhausted beyong imagination but hey, we’re gonna have dope careers making money for doing something we love. No…not each other you sickos, design.

Ps. Kaye’s in Oklahoma!!! She flew back with Rich (her USAF husband). Happy for them? Ya damn straight, yee haaaaa cowboy.

I NEED A JOB !!! I’m still making a few albums full of, what else, photos from the family visitors we had this year and a single-slot 4 x 6 photograph portfolio full of decently shot pictures–pretty much expressing photography as a creative mean of capturing whatever objects are placed in front of me with meticulous composition, varying tonal ranges and blah blah. I’m very much inspired to complete these projects.

Too bad my wallet isn’t inspired. It yearns, “feed me.”

Ok…I’m happy that I got into CSUS and all and I told myself I wouldn’t complain about anything, but this is not just ANYTHING, this is RID DICK YOO LUSS! First, CSUs cut budgets like a mothafu6a. Second, the classes are scheduled at ridiculously retarded times and it’s almost damn near impossible that you
adequately spread classes apart. It’s either TOO SPREAD out or overlapping. And this isn’t just a semester. This is a year!!! 2 classes back-2-back from 2-9. Who the fu6k does that?! ART CLASSES DAMMIT!
3.5 hrs. of drawing in class + homework.

Ok…I think I figured out the budget cuts.  They ditched the teachers who
taught at good times.  I’m really preparing  myself to swallow this
load of horse manure so I can tough it out but what I’m left with is
stupid-dumb-diggity gay.  If only they opened up Fridays
the schedules wouldn’t be so impacted or hoochie loose.

Community colleges cost less and scheduling is less hassle.
